Docklands Light Railway
The DLR is the first light rail systems in Britain with one of the world’s safest and most advanced automatic train control systems.
The system was opened in June 1987 with a basic layout.
The DLR has since expanded to 34km with 149 trains that serves areas such as; Bank, Beckton, Lewisham, London City Airport & Woolwich Arsenal.
The DLR now carries 67 million passengers a year.
